KC Concepcion was able to distribute 10,000 relief goods to Cagayan.

Actress KC Concepcion is living her title as the National Ambassador of the UN World Food Programme as she recently flew to Cagayan Valley to give aid to the victims of Typhoon Ulysses.

On Instagram, the beautiful 35-year-old visited the province to bring relief goods to the typhoon victims.

She even shared an aerial shot of the Cagayan Valley that showed most of its twins in deep flooded water.

“View from above. Please keep the people of Cagayan, Northern Philippines, in your list of communities to help, following this recent flooding and devastation,” KC wrote in the caption.

In a follow-up post, KC posted a photo of her fans smiling and waving at her as they welcome her to their community. Along with it is a beautiful poem that captured the essence of the Filipino spirit.

She wrote, “'Di ko mawari

“Kung sa'n nanggagaling

“Ang mga ngiti

“Ang tamis ng pagbati

“Humiyaw pa sa tuwa

“Kumakaway pa ng walang sawa

“Sa kabila ng naging sakuna

“Nagawa pang kumanta

“Nagawa pang magpakasaya...

“O bansa ko... Mga Pilipino talaga…”

According to the actress, they were able to distribute 10,000 relief packs to the community with Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson.

She added in her Instagram Story, “Wala pong social distancing kanina, pero kawawa po talaga 'yung survivors ng disaster na ito. Hindi lang sa Cagayan pero sa lahat ng parts ng Philippines kung saan talagang naapektuhan ang mga tao.

“Tulung-tulong po tayo as usual. 'Wag po nating kalimutan na kailangan pa rin ng masks, ng alcohol, ng pagkain, ng tubig, ng toiletries kasi importante rin po 'yun.

“'Wag n'yo pong kalimutan sana ang mga apektadong community, just keep praying for them and pray for all the volunteers who are going there to help out.”

KC said she plans to donate more relief goods to Marikina by auctioning a few of her Avec Moi jewelry pieces.
